You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 15–21 GDPR).

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). On access, technically necessary server log data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred) is processed. This is necessary for the secure and stable provision of the website; the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare, and transfers to third countries are safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses.

4. Fonts

Fonts (Anton, Inter) are served locally — no connection is made to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts).

5. Cookies & consent

On your first visit we display a cookie notice. Your choice ("essential only" or "accept all") is stored solely locally in your browser (localStorage); no data is transmitted to us or third parties in the process. We set technically necessary cookies required to operate the website and the shopping cart on the basis of § 25(2) TDDDG and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Non-essential cookies (e.g. for analytics) are set only with your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. The website currently sets no tracking or analytics cookies.

6. Shop & payments

Our online shop is provided via the service Ecwid (Ecwid, Inc., USA). When you place an order, we process the master data required for this (e.g. name, delivery and billing address, email address) as well as order and payment data in order to perform the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Payment is processed via the payment service providers you select (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Klarna); the payment data collected is processed directly by the respective provider, to which its own privacy policy applies. We have agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with our processors; transfers to third countries are safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses.

The site-wide search sends your typed query to our shop provider Ecwid (Ecwid, Inc., USA) to display matching products. This happens only when you actively type a search term — no connection to Ecwid is made before then. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working product search and the initiation of a purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(f)/(b) GDPR). Search across our own content (guides, pages) runs locally on this website with no data transfer to third parties.

8. Newsletter

We currently do not send a newsletter. No sign-up data is transmitted to us or third parties or stored via the input field on the website. As soon as we offer a newsletter, we will update this policy with details of the provider, the double opt-in procedure and your right to withdraw at any time.
